I used the name Kelvin as a "tip of the hat" to the Kelvin seen in the JJ Abrams re-make of Star Trek. I also designated it as a Saladin Class vessel, since it is the closest C-Canon vessel to the re-make version and also because Memory-Beta listed the vessel as such.
