SSC Twin Turbo Trans Am Badging Spec Sheet

This is the concept spec sheet for the badging for SSC's upcoming Twin Turbo Trans Am. According to the people at SSC, the vehicle will be built on the Gen 3 Trans Am body style with a complete twin turbocharged and intercooled LT1 engine (est. horsepower 790)  with a complete Hotchkis suspension, Brembo disc brakes on all four wheels, Magnaflow exhaust and a race ready 7 speed manual transmission. The interior will have a hidden roll cage, Recaro Racing seats, a custom dashboard that will include a re-configurable gage configuration (like the C7 Corvette Stingray) and a complete touch screen stereo, navigation and video system.   

About the design, I wanted this to be instantly recognizable to any fans of the Gen 3 Trans Am, so I patterned the fender badges to look reminiscent of the ones used on the limited edition 1989 Turbo Trans Am, while giving them an identity of their own. As for the hood badge/dashboard plaque, I chose to go different direction with something that was never seen on a production Trans Am of that era, I deliberately decided to do away with the "shield" type background element in favor of a hollow circle in which the border carries the vehicle's identity I also added the individual vehicle's production number directly above the Firebird (or as Trans Am and Firebird enthusiasts call it "The Screaming Chicken".) Also sharp eyed Trans Am and Firebird fans will notice that I utilized the Firebird emblem from the Gen 2 vehicle. I did this on on purpose since I thought that the Gen 2 Firebird was more visually striking than the one used for the Gen 3 vehicles.     

The vehicle will be available in only two colors Black with a slate gray interior and White with a beige interior with only 50 being produced of each color.
